Field at the rear of Stonecrop

We have recently been fortunate to be able to buy the adjoining field which can be reached through the wicket gate in the garden.

The field is beautiful and rich in wild flowers and includes a small stream and a section of woodland next to the river.

There is a reasonably long section of river frontage (about 400m) against the South Tyne which is ideal for wildlife, bird watching or simply relaxing by the river. The sound and sight of the water is pretty special.

Guests are welcome to wander freely in the field (though dogs are not permitted as there are sheep grazing there much of the time).

Guests are also welcome to turn their vehicle(s) around using the gateway into the field off the road.
